Hello I am Gabby, 19 and am currently taking a gap year, I am working in my local library and am hoping to take an English/Philosophy degree in October of next year. Like many people, I am a budding writer and am currently working on a novel of my own, I have also co written some comedy scripts with a friend.

I love both writing and reading, my fave authors are The Bronte sisters, ( bit of an understatement seeing as I am completely obsessed with both them and their work, Oh and Mr Rochester of course!), I also love Jane Austen, Melvin Peake, George Elliot, Sylvia Plath, and Douglas Adams. I would say that I have a very diverse litearay taste, ranging from Tolstoy to Philippa Gregory.

I also love costume dramas/films, my fave being Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, I capture the castle, Litle Women, Persuasion, North and South, Cassonova and many more. I do not watch that much telly, but love Green Wing and its Dr Mac in particular, Doctor Who and its lovely David Tennant, and comedy shows such as The office, Black Books, Monty Python, Father Ted and Spaced.

I love all forms of music, except hip hop, and love to go to live gigs and concerts. My fave bands/artists are Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Keane, Snowpatrol, Queen, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, The Kinks, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and loads more.
